Performance and Powertrain

The Destroyer 05 uses BYD's DM-i hybrid system, with a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine and different electric motor configurations.

Engine Power: The 1.5L engine (model BYD472QA) produces 81 kW (110 hp) and 135 Nm of torque.
Motor Power: Depending on the variant, the electric motor produces either 132 kW (177 hp) or 145 kW (194 hp).
Combined Output: The system provides a combined power output of approximately 197 horsepower and up to 325 Nm of torque.
Acceleration (0-100 km/h): The 0-100 km/h acceleration time is 7.9 seconds for the standard power version and 7.3 seconds for the higher power version.
Top Speed: The maximum speed is approximately 185 km/h.
Transmission: It is equipped with an E-CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission)

Battery and Range

The vehicle comes with two main battery capacity options, both utilizing BYD Blade Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery technology.

Battery Capacity: Available with either an 8.3 kWh or an 18.3 kWh battery.
Pure Electric Range: The smaller battery offers a pure electric range of 55 km (NEDC), while the larger battery provides up to 120 km (NEDC) of pure electric range.
Charging: The 120 km version supports DC fast charging, which can charge the battery from 30% to 80% in approximately 25 minutes or from empty in 1.1 hours (fast charge).
